Putting together a final portfolio of the work I have done that brings me to the end of my undergraduate career is both cathartic and exhilarating. My college career began back in 2008 when I qualified for running start in my hometown of Wenatchee, WA. I had always been a good student, but had lost motivation and drive. That first quarter in college gave me a huge push and showed me that I truly loved the academic challenge of a college classroom. I went on to pursue an eight-year career as an associate pastor. I finally returned to my secular education in 2018, hellbent on finishing my bachelor’s degree before I turn 30. The road has taken a lot of twists and turns, but I’m proud of where I finally landed.
